If there is one toy that is evergreen for boys it is the tool-set. It may have changed and evolved through the generations but ultimately the idea is the same. The current offering for little boys is the toy series based on the popular television show: Handy Manny. And because it is a character little boys (and girls) can identify with you already know they will love the range of toys supporting it.
Playhouse Disney's popular children's television series, Handy Manny is a perfect theme for an extensive range of colourful, fun and interactive toys from Fisher Price. The range includes Manny himself, each of his tools, workbench, tool-belt and various DIY projects.
Manny is an excellent role-model for young children. He is always happy to help with the assistance of course, of his talking tools. Of course Manny (Manuel Garcia) has human friends such as Kelly the hardware store owner who always has everything Manny needs, and the accident-prone Mr Lopart from the Candy Store next door to Manny's workshop.
But the real characters are Manny's tools. Do you know who they all are?
First up is 'Felipe' the Phillips screwdriver. Felipe knows how important he is not only for his skills as a tool but for his translation ability as well often translating when his tool friends need help.
'Turner' is a Flathead screwdriver who often has conflicting ideas to Felipe and thinks he is just as important.
Then there is 'Stretch' who is a Tape Measure, 'Squeeze' who is a pair of pliers and 'Pat', a clumsy hammer. Making up the remainder of the tools are 'Dusty' the hand saw, 'Rusty' the monkey wrench and youngest of the crew, 'Flicker' the flashlight who only speaks Spanish.
Coming up in the new series some new tool friends will be joining the workshop including 'Spinner' the power drill, Sneeze the vacuum cleaner and 'Roland' the deluxe tool box.
They will be joined by the crescent wrench family - Lefty, Lily and Junior.
